Hello

I'm running on a RAC database 10.2.0.5 on two M4000 with Solaris 10, and I am not sure about gcs_server_processes parameter.

The Doc ID 764453.1 says "gcs_server_processes" and need to be set ideally to #cpu -1 (see note:)..... does anybody know what note??

I found in a ADDM report a recommendation of increasing the value of that parameter, currently is set to 4.

-

Additionaly, the prtdiag os command shows that there are 16 cpu's running in SPARC64-VII mode.

-

what would be an appropiate value for gcs_server_processes parameter???

Howdy, Stranger!
