Compatibility with other software for document scanning and capture

Hi all,

recently i read an article about kofax, and it tells that kofax's markview for AP achieves validated integration with Oracle EBS. actually i'm not really understanding what kofax is. in my understanding it's a software for scanning documents and then, this data will automatically processed in to AP module. is that correct? and if so, does JD Edwards EnterpriseOne can do the same thing with Oracle EBS? if it's not, is there any way to connected this kind of software with JDE?
