Redo Log Switching...

HI, Our Redo logs are size at 24G each due to the demands of overnight batch, at peak even these switch every 4 mins.

My concern is that in the online day the work load will be small and switching my not happen at all until a backup (RMAN arch) or batch starts again.

Should I be concerned that the Redo logs may not be archived for some hours...?

Were running a 2 Node primary cluster, Data Guarded for max availabilty. 

11.1.0.7 , CRS , ASM for an E-Biz 11 system on AIX
