Wrong fonts used in PDF output produced by a custom Report

Hi,
We are currently running E-Business Suite 11.5.10.2 and we are experiencing the following problem.

We have a custom report that produces an PDF output file. The report is set to use specific fonts. When this report runs in production, the fonts on the PDF output are correct. When we run the same report in a development system, the fonts are replaced with another font (a helvetica type font).

The mechanism responsible for this output is IX_LIBRARIES and Report builder

We have managed to narrow down the cause of the issue to some zero byte files named ix<Number>.tmp located under the $COMMON_TOP/temp directory. If these files exist, the correct font is used in the PDF. If those files are missing or removed, the font changes. The files also do not appear to be environment specific; if the files are moved from any environment to another, the font problem goes away.

Howdy, Stranger!
