Changes to Currency Decimal Precision

Hi,

We have an issue within our accts dept, that when changing the currency decimal precision through GL Superuser > Setup > Currencies > Define, it seems to take a day before the system recognises the new number of decimal places. 

Anything we try to post for the currency on the same day as making the change, has the original number of decimal places, anything we post on the next day is ok with the new number of decimal positions for the currency .

I assume there is a scheduled process somewhere that runs daily to enable this - does anyone know what this process is.
