"Did You Know" Slashes are not required when entering a date?

We were web confereced in with a customer the other day and they kept entering slashes to seperate the month/day and year in a date field. We had to ask if they felt that entering the slash was time consuming and of course they said yes. They were informed that slashes are not required and that our software will seperate every date field along with the majority of date fields in dream writers system wide. They honestly didn't know. It's funny the habits that we all pick up when operating software. So save yourself some time.  If you're entering slashes in a date field, don't enter them
