snmp configuration

Hello, I'm trying to configure snmp trap on the enterprise manager ptf.


oms version 11
agent version 11
omr version 11

in the doc
Oracle® Enterprise Manager SNMP Support Reference Guide
11 g Release 1 (11.1.0.1.0)
Part Number E14091-01

 it is said :Configuring SNMP with Enterprise Manager , that we have to use "emctl start subagent"

but

Deprecated features :ID 1057526.1
Oracle Enterprise Manager
SNMP Sub-agent
The Enterprise Manager SNMP subagent feature is planned for
deprecation in Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g Grid Control
Release 1 (11.1.0.1.0).

what do you think of that ?
