Deactivated Assets

Hello All,
I have a question. If the EAM team "deactivates" an asset, is there any way to remove that asset from showing in subsequent LOV's?

For example, If I go to Work Order Planning, then the Maintenance Workbench, I don't want to see an asset that has been deactivated. Anyone know?
