Is Windows 7 is supported for Siebel 7.7.x.?

I have found on "Siebel Support for Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) (Doc ID 796015.1)" that Siebel supports IE8 on 7.7.2.12 fixpack.

 

Does this statement apply to Windows 7? Can I install the Siebel Dedicated Client version 7.7.2.12 or higher on Windows 7?
