EM11g - Root.sh for Agent installs

This question is being asked  in an EM11g context but it probably applies to earlier versions of EM.

As part of an EM implementation, I have been installing Agents on my database servers boxes (Oracle Linux -x64 and Solaris Sparc-64). Since I don't have the root capability, I do the Agent install and then have to ask my SysAdm to run root.sh for me. I have noticed, however that once the install is complete, the agent begins to run and connects to my OMS and everything seems to work even though the SysAdm has not yet run the  root.sh script.
