Connecting Active Directory in newly installed FDM (11.1.1.2)

We have an existing Oracle EPM environment (11.1.1.2) which contains Planning, Essbase, and MS SQL Server. I'm adding to this the FDM module. My issue has to do with active directory setup for FDM (we have active directory setup and running in Shared Services). At this point I have tried to setup the AD connection from the Load Balancing configuration which seems to work (validated by logging in from configurator form). I have also added the native (CSS) entry. I want to use the native Admin account to configure FDM. However, when I enable both entries the CSS forces the Active
