What would cause Mass Transfer to Fail when Preview Processed Correctly?

 Hi-

I am trying to transfer assets from one location to another.  I was able to successfully perform the transfer in the TEST environment.

When I preview the Transfer in the Production environment, the transfer details look appropriate.  However, when I 'Run' the Transfer, I receive the following error:

Number of failures: 271
Module Mass Transfer ended with error

Executing request completion options...


Finished executing request completion options.
Concurrent program returned no reason for failure.

I am unsure how to proceed, as no error message was given.   Could this have something to do with the fact that the initial setting for the Book for 'Allow Mass Changes' was not checked off....and then we checked it off at after the Book was Live?
