Long time to save requisition template?

We just went live on our R121.2 upgrade, and had to switch from ASL to Requisition Template to be able to access vendor catalogs in iProcurement. We are not using the Requisition Templates for shopping lists, just a means to access the vendor catalogs, after doing a vendor search in the main store.

Most of our vendors have between 1 and 5 catalog items, a few vendors have as many as 50-100 items. We put these into a two Requisition Templates, one for each vendor type, VENDOR and 1099.

The Requisition Template for vendor type VENDOR has nearly 6,000 lines in it. It takes about 5 minutes to save a single additional line.
