I want to apply Patch 5496862  to my 8.1.7.4 which is 32bit and running on AIX 64 bit server.Apparently, Patch 5496862 is not
available for 8.1.7.4 version on AIX 5.3 ML 6 64-bit server.

If I run my AIX OS in 32bit kernel mode, can I apply Patch 5496862 ?
