Oracle EBIS Upgrade from 11.5.10 to 12.1.X

 Dear All,

We have a exisitng solution( Mainly Oracle Financials, Oracle CRM and Oracle HRMS) running on Oracle 11.5.10 and 10g database on HP PA Risc platform.

We want to upgrade to Oracle 12.1.x and 11g database on Linux as platfrom.

Please suggest all possible opitions if someone has done or planned this upgrade.

We are exploring slightly unconventional approach, please read below evealuate and comment:

( We want to upgrade HP platform from PA Risc to Itanium)

Step 1: We want to upgrade databse 10g to 11g independelty as a first step.

Step 2: We want to do a fresh rapid install of Oracle 12.1.x on a Linux box to create the appltop with an option we already have exisitng Oracle solution
