PO RECEIPT

We have case where some suppliers provide more quantity than the order quantity, while we have to increase the inventory amount equal to PO price. we make over/under receipt of 5% in case of over receipt system increase the inventory more than the PO price how we can make inventory to equal to po price in case of excess supply. while take additional quantites in to the inventory one way is revise the unit price and quantity of PO but it is difficult for us becasue in most case this happens.

assume

we have an item A in po quantity of 100 at unit price of USD 1 total price of 100 USD in PO. while they deliver 105 quantities when we take receipt of 105 quantities system increase the inventory with 105 USD. While our requirement is to increase value of inventory by 100 usd and quantity by 105. we donot want to revise the PO.
