Depreciation Account blank in Mass Additions

 12.0.6 Assets are feeding from Purchasing to Installed Base to Asset Tracking thru Projects to Mass Additions in FA.  The depreciation account is blank and users have to update manually in Mass Additions.  Shouldn't this be autopopulated based on Book and Asset Category?
