Disable Segment Values

Hi,

There is a requirement   to disable around 100 cost centre values.  These values to be disabled are used in various subledger transactions like PO's, expense reports, AR invoices etc.

We are on 11.5.10

I am looking for some guidance on what need to be considered before disabing the segment values and how to change the accounting reference in various subledgers.

Would appreciate any help ....
