Tax classification codes in R12

 We probably need to use classification code in R12. We don't see any other solutions in AP Inteface since the 3rd part system (scanning) only gives a tax code into ap interface. If someone has other solution we would be happy to hear from you.

We have set up tax rules as note How to Setup and Troubleshoot Tax Classification Codes and Use in Tax Rule in R12 E-Business Tax (EBtax) [ID 801535.1], but this is not working. Does anyone have any experience with this. In general, our tax rules are not working. The tax always get picked up by the standard code on the status.
