Additional Requests for the Cost Summary and Reserve Summary reports

 When we upgraded to R12 we noticed that when we run the Cost Summary and Reserve Summary reports we see additional requests run called "Populate Balanace Report". (I typed it exactly how it appears in R12)

First of all, is the request name suppose to be "Populate Balance Report"?  If so how can we correct the spelling? 

Second, can someone tell me what these requests do for the Cost and Reserve reports?  I couldn't find anything that explains their purpose.  I queried both "Populate Balanace Report" and "Populate Balance Report".
