Vertex integration with AP/PO in R12.1 - Is anyone using?

Vertex Sales/Use Tax solution has been certified with only O2C business flow. However, Vertex says that the latest Vertex O Series Consumer Use Tax can be used for verifying tax on POs/AP Invoices in R12.1. Does anyone use this for AP/PO? Any thoughts/comments/examples? Thanks a lot.
