What is Patch Wizard ?

Patch Wizard is a utility that comes installed as part of E-Business 11i and R12.x. It can be accessed via the Oracle Applications Manager menu. It provides a one-stop for administrators to perform patching related tasks, such as the following:

    * Get a list of Oracle recommended patches for EBS
    * Perform an impact analysis on patches based on your current installation    
    * Download and merge patches
    * Determine if your instance meets the minimum baseline patch requirements for extended support on Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10.
          o This feature is provided by patch 9803629. A short video is available in Doc ID 1210479.1
