Feedback on Procwatcher Tool/Script

Just wondering if anybody here has used Procwatcher ( Note 459694.1 ) for troubleshooting.
11.x, the main Procwatcher features would be:

  • - Monitors hang analyzer wait chains within the database. |

  • - Gets short stacks, active session, history, and other data for background processes and processes in the wait chain.
  • Works in RAC and non-RAC.

  • - Can be used proactively or to monitor the system if some intermittent hang/problem is expected, can be run to capture data for that

  • - Can also be used to monitor clusterware processes.

In the Procwatcher note itself (Note 459694.1) it says:

Procwatcher is Ideal for...

  • - Session level hangs or severe contention in the database/instance.

Howdy, Stranger!
