Managing Databases using Enterprise Manager (MOSC)

ASM and Grid Control Issues.

I'm new to using GC to manager ASM.  I've stumbled across the following issues:

I have 1 ASM supporting 4 databases.  On the GC ASM Management Page all 4 databases are listed under the "Service Databases" section.  2 databases are monitored the other 2 are listed as "not monitored".  What do I need to do to get the 2 non-monitored databases to be monitored?

When I try to delete an old archive log file (or directory) I get an error "cannot delete system file".  What do I need to do to get GC to be able to delete these files?
