Insuffient Inventory - Order line getting backorder instead on getting Released to Warehouse - R12

  When we were in R11.5.10.2 when we had insufficient inventory quantity the Order lines would go into the "released to warehouse" status. However in R12 it's getting backordered. Our Production Batches are entered once a month at month entered hence we don't want this to prevent shipments from happening. Everything worked fine in R11 but in R12 when the Order Lines are Pick Released and if there is insufficient Qty it's getting backordered. Is there any profile setup related to the following change?
