ADI journal upload results in error

I'm using a client ADI version of  7.2.11.07.29 on a 11.5.8 instance. The Desktop ADI is constantly used to upload Assets but was never used to upload journals. When trying to upload journals, i receive the following error.

"Currency is invalid. Account Error: Values had not been created for one or more of the required segments"

There is no error in the CCIDs since these are commonly used intelligent keys. The currencies are valid as well. I cannot figure out what the issue is. An SR was logged with Oracle and the solution provided was to upgrade the ADI with several roll up patches, which i did. But the error still persists.
