Multi-Select Configurator Validation

We are looking at the Multi-Select Configurator Validation feature in siebel 8.x

Enables Sales and Service Agents to select multiple items with a configuration session and validate these items as a group vs. after each individual selection.
 Benefits:
• This will help users quickly select a desired solution • validate 'on demand' as opposed to validation after each individual selection.
• This improves the performance of the application by validating solutions instead of individual requests.

Does it mean can I execute all the rules associated with  sub products/Port Items in a relationship on demand?
