disksuite performance tuning for Solaris 10

In Solaris 8 disksuite, I made the following changes for performance tuning
1)  I edited the /etc/system  and added the line "set maxphys=0x100000"

Does item #1 still apply to Solaris 10?


2)  I modified /etc/rc2.d/S95lvm.sync and specified $METASYNC -r 2048

What is the same change in Solaris 10 since there are no rc scripts?  What are the scripts (manifests) for solaris 10?
