Adding new rates to an existing Depreciation method

 I have queried my Depeciation Method called SLHY.   I would like to add rates over 2 1/2 years.  2 life years and 6 months.   It does not allow me to added new rates.   currently I only have 5 years , 10 years and 40 years.    Can this be done? Thanks. Laura

Never mind, I just read in the user guide that once I start using a method I cannot  update it.  I have to enter a new method if I want new rates.

does anyone know what rates I would define for the following method:

Straight Line Half Year Convention  Calculation Basis = Cost

Life years = 2  6 Months

Prorate Periods per Year = 12
