11g R2 RAC Installation - Swap space check failed

  Hi,

we are installing 11g R2 RAC on 2 node system
The O/S is Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.5 X64
Database servers have 16 GB RAM and 8 GB swap space each

Pre clusterware installation check is failing for swap space. Message is --> "Swap space check failed. Check failed on nodes 1 and 2"
I believe it requires a swap space at least equal to RAM or 1.5 times of RAM

The question is can we ignore this swap space warning and proceed with the Grid and Database Installation OR would this cause the Grid / DB Installation to fail?
