Merger of Two Legal Entities

We have two legal entities having separate set of books. Now we have to merge one legal entity to another. We have Payables,Receivables,Fixed Assets,Cash Management,General Ledger, Property Manager, Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management, Project Costing, Project management and Core HRMS,India Localization.

What could be the best practice/approach for above
