Can 8.10 clients still process W2s since they are no longer supported?

 Is anyone aware of clients who are using E1 Payroll release 8.10 being able to still submit W2s?  I have a client who has not upgraded yet, but they will need to process their W2s from E1.  When they attempted to submit the W2 ID for 2010, the workbench did not display "10", rather it shows "0-".  If anyone has information related to 8,10 clients still being able to process Year End for Payroll and AP, I'd appreciate learning more.  Thanks.
