Budgetary Control Settings – changing Time Intervals

 

I wondered whether there was much call from customers to be able to change these? In 11.5.10.2 these can only be changed if there is no Approved Cost Budget or Expenditure incurred. Understandably, fundschecking logic could conceivably be compromised.

 

However, changing to a less restrictive timeframe should be allowed. Specifically, the following should be allowed:

Amount Type:

From Period To Date to Year To date or to Project To Date

From Year To Date to Project To Date

 

Boundary Code:

From Period to Year or to Project

From Year to Project

 

Upon change, user should re-baseline for safety. Indeed, these changes are more suited to the Budget workbench rather than the Project workbench.
