Does someone know if OSM 7.0.1 can be installed with Oracle Database 11gR1?

Hi everyone,
We are starting an AIA 2.5 prototype, and working with 11gR1 is way cheaper in term of servers than 11gR2. However, OSM is the only app where it states in the installation guide that 11gR2 is the only supported database.

Being a bit sceptical, I did some research, and found on the statement of direction for OSM 7.0.2 that Oracle Database 11gR1 will STILL be supported... hence my question: can or can not OSM 7.0.1 work with Oracle Database 11gR1?
