Hide subinvnetory in iProc so requestors don't determine where to pick items from

Hey, we currently have a situation where our subinventories are visible (and their onhand quanitites) in iProc.  I would like them to be 'not visible' but I'm uncomfortable with directions I've been given to date.  When I go to personalize I want to be sure I am affecting all users within an organization.  I have gone testing with system profiles/Personalize selfservice Defn.  Can anyone provide easy instructions for the newbie?
