Archivelog storage considerations

Hi,
I'd like to get some feedback on community members who store archivelogs on NFS.  Our environment consists of 80 Oracle Server Enterprise 10.2.0.4 databases on AIX 5.3. Currently we store archivelogs on locally attached storage for single instance databases and ASM for RAC databases.  We are reviewing our backup/recovery setup so that we can multiplex archive log copies by storing copies on NAS via NFS and/or remotely via log shipping.  The largest databases generate approximately 1.5 TB of archivelogs per day while total archive log consumption for all databases is approximately 4TB/day.  We hope to retain archivelogs on disk for

Howdy, Stranger!
