iAsset Question

 in reviewing the iAsset application I understand that it allows users to transfer assets between accounting segment, locations, and employees.  Also I understand that there is a program Post Asset Transfer Requests - however it does not say how the information gets populated in Oracle Assets - does the request use the asset tranfers api or something else?
