r12 Upgrade - Considerations for Projects SLA Conversion

Hi, would you be able to point to documentation on what is the impact on how far the client should convert the SLA Data; the default is 6-months and the client is asking what are the considerations on assessing how far back they need to go to do the SLA conversion. Would appreciate you help. Thanks.
