Back Dated RMAs

We have a few wrong Orders that were shipped in previous year, we would like to bring back those Orders through RMAs that would hit last period of previous year. Is there anyway we can do this? What we are expecting to do is, open AR/Inv/GL last period of last year, and perform RMA as of that date to get Credit Memos created in that period as well COGS to be posted in Inv to that period.

I know standard functionality might not suport this, but is there a way to achieve this?
