IMP help

 Hi,

I am running an import on 9.2.0.8 db, the export has taken from the same db, basically I just want to 

go back to some point where I took this export,

my option is like

imp user/pwd file=filename.dmp log=logname.dmp fromuser=username touser=username.

and it is hanging , I checked that it created some sequences,nothing else, I normally refresh db this way,

I have no clue what is wrong now ?

for testing, I tried 

imp user/pwd file=filename.dmp log=logname.dmp fromuser=username touser=username tables=tableA

and it worked fine.

any help is appreciated.
