UK Group VAT Set Up

In the Uited Kingom multiple legal entities can belong to a VAT group and all have the same VAT registration number.

The Oracle Financials implementation guide staes the the registration number recorded on a legal entiy must be "unique within the jurisdiction"

If a single legal entity is set up to cover all individual companies, will this not comprimise functionality in AGIS, E,Tax, Cash Management etc which use Legal Entity ?

Would this approach also cause issues with transactions ? Legal Entity Configurator 4.9 states that Legal Entity is stamped at header level on transactions. This may be ok for VAT purposes, but the real owner is the actual legal entity to which the transaction belongs.

Howdy, Stranger!
