General ledger Batch Name and Journal Name

Hi. Has anyone tried to modify the batch name (or journal name) after processing or posting?
We have some journal lines with a wrong description in batch name (and journal name).
For example, we have a opening journal line with name "Reverse Closing Period", for JAN-10.
We need the description "Opening Period of JAN-10".
It's possible to update this name, and only this name, with any another change?
