Hi all,
i am facing a problem on oracle 10gR2 while configuring data guard.
cnp_live - primary db
cnp_stdby - standby db
cnp_std_DR - standby db.
i am have not connected the second standby db, just configuring.
After configuring the data guard, all configuration was successful. tried to switch over to cnp_stdby,i got this error below:
[4:02:31 PM] sailesh: DGMGRL> connect sys/password
Connected.
DGMGRL> show configuration
Configuration
Name: cnp1
Enabled: YES
Protection Mode: MaxPerformance
Fast-Start Failover: DISABLED
Databases:
cnp_live - Primary database
cnp_stdby - Physical standby database
Current status for "cnp1":
SUCCESS
