OK, a little new to 11g but in the Oracle community for years.  I've never seen this and wondered if maybe it is a new "11g feature" I wasn't aware of...
In one of my schemas we've noticed that there a bunch of P$99999 packages (the number part is not sequential, but all over the place in numbering).  They "appear" to be previous versions of the same package.  Some are specs only, some are bodys only.  These P$ packages also have DDL dates that are in the past, not all at the same time.

Is this maybe a hiccup in the recycle feature that is saving these objects within the schema instead of the recycle area?
