Force approved unposted journal batch could not be deleted.

 Hi, We cancelled a journal entry approval workflow which caused the approval to be 'force' approved. This journal is unposted and we want to delete it but unable to do so. How can we delete/fix this unposted journal which prevents us from closing November GL period.
