Production ASM diskgroups SAN mirroring to Disaster Recovery Site

Hi All,

Currently I have works on the configured Production Servers RAC with 2 nodes connected to SAN disks. In DR site it only has single server also connected to DR SAN disks.

In Production, I have created a voting disk, crs disks, ASM diskgroups +DATA and +FLASH.

The workflows is Production SAN disks mirroring to DR site SAN disks. After mirroring done. My DR site SAN disks contents equivalant to Production.

My question is, in DR site could I install single instance using +DATA and +FLASH diskgroups which is mirrored from production.

1) Is it workable?

2) How do configures DR server to make it connect DB instance?
