Finding the MICR font

The document Check Printing using XML Publisher tells me "For the check printing solution XML Publisher only needs the MICR font location;"

I have apps and database installed on Linux, single node.  I'm assuming I'm going to have to install a MICR font on my linux box and point XML Publisher to that location.  Is this correct?

What is the standard to get a MICR font?  Is it purchased?  Can I download it free?  Does Oracle have a download for LINUX?  Thank you.
