Siebel Load balancing - F5 Big IP load balancing when using Product Configurator
Environment: 2 Siebel Web servers, 1 Gateway server, 2 Siebel App servers, 2 Dedicated product configurator servers. We are using F5 BIG IP/LTM to Load Balance at the Web and App server tiers. The dedicated PC servers have been configured per the Siebel documentation
The issue we are seeing is as follows, if users log into the application through BIG IP using the load balanced URL at the web tier and attempt to validate an order what we are seeing is if the order takes more than 15 minutes to validate, at the 15 minute mark, a Windows Credential box pops up. Entering the credentials or clicking "Cancel" brings the user to a "Page cannot be found" web page. If the order takes less than 15 minutes to validate, shortly before order validation, the "Launching Siebel" box pops up for a few seconds, goes away
