Not Seeing Contact Ext ID as Field for Portfolio in Import Wizard

Was going to import data to the Portfolio object. The Portfolio data can be associated to an Account and to a Contact. In Field Setup the fields for Account External ID and Contact External ID are visible and available. In Import Wizard the Contact External ID is not showing which would appear to be a defect. How should Portfolio records be associated to a Contact if field not available via Import Wizard and second - this would appear to be something that should be corrected so the field is available via the Wizard.
