Deploying Agents or Patches using Grid Control 10.2.0.5

in Managing Databases using Enterprise Manager (MOSC) Question
 I have my OMS installed on a Solaris 9 server.  Is it possible to deploy an agent or patches on Windows servers using Grid Control?  If it is possible, has anyone successffully accomplished this?  I found an article using Google, that involved installing several open source unix for windows commands on the Windows servers and placing the software to be deployed in the directory structure of the OMS ORACLE_HOME.  Is this the only way to get this done?  Any help would be appreciated.
